Observation details

Joel Trick alerted the Manitowoc birders to the presence of a Limpkin at the east end of English Lake. Upon arrival at the site, Joel and others were present and the bird was quickly located as it fed along the west end of the lake near the public access area. The Ibis shaped dark brown bird was easily identified by the long decurved bicoloured bill, speckled head neck and body and long dark colored feet. The bird however, was not heard. Many obtained photos of the bird, but Joel was able to secure the best photo. My photo will be included in this report.
