Observation details
Fascinating behavior. Regurgitated 3 seeds one by one. These seeds were sticky, so the bird had to wipe its bill on a branch to get rid of them. Interestingly all 3 seeds stuck to the branch in the same orientation, anchoring by the pointy end with the bulbous end facing outward. This is likely the seed dispersal strategy of whatever epiphyte this elaenia had been feeding on. Video tba
