Observation details
This individual has been seen almost every day for the past 8 days in and around my yard. As of 10:07am it was once again perched in the exact same bush as I've often been seeing it if anyone wants to come and see it! The bush provides the bird with a bit of cover and shelter from the rain, so I wouldn’t be surprised if it stays there all day today, or at least as long as it continues raining. Birders are more than welcome to come and stand in front of my house or in my driveway and photograph it; two people turned up yesterday and photographed it with great success. *Edit* As of 11:14am the bird was still present. Another birder and I both photographed it just before it flew off. It'll likely be back though, to take cover from the rain in its favourite bush. *Edit* As of 12:47pm the bird is back sitting in the bush on the side of the road, making it very easy to find. It's the bush on the east side of Hilson Avenue, just north of the green electrical box, precisely here: https://maps.app.goo.gl/FN87VNpGa7eMAaWt5
