Observation details

Scarce breeder in Montgomery county, and presumed successful this year. Count is conservative: two can be heard calling in the video below. The visible one is an immature bird. I observed pairs at two locations nearly a half-mile apart, but wasn't able to be in both places at once to confirm they weren't just moving back and forth. The two I got extended looks at were immatures, but I also briefly saw an adult getting driven off by a mob of smaller birds. The youngsters were extremely vocal.
