Media notes
High-pitched, rising calls of what we thought looked like a Yellow-margined Flatbill in response to a Subtropical Pygmy-Owl in good foothill forest along the road shortly below Sadiri Lodge I’ve changed to Tolmomyias sp. And I’m not sure what the other calls in the background are—possibly those of a euphonia?? Recorded using a Fostex FR-2LE with a Sennheiser ME62 & Telinga Universal 22" parabola.
Observation details
with flock, male singing; what we thought was a Yellow-margined Flatbill doesn't fit the sonograms of others; so I've changed it to Tolmomyias sp.
