Observation details
Discovered this morning by Steve Burk: Smaller, darker mantled, round-headed gull, stubby yellow bill, dark eye, mottled back of the neck and distinct white crescents visible on dorsal view. Stayed by itself floating in the middle of the lake. Best viewed from the south shore w/ spotting scope. Didn't associate with the small flock of gulls on the water.
