Media notes
Partial song/subsong, short and extremely quiet. Heard several times but I was only able to capture one.
Observation details
Continuing, apparently photo’ed by a non-eBirder on 12/9/23, relocated this morning further up canyon. Location this morning at about 1015 was second-to-last metal power pole along trail below Beatty’s, where there are ripe Madrone berries on both sides of trail. Interesting that it was not with AMRO/HETH flock as I initially suspected, but relatively solitary (SPTO, RNSA). Poor photos, and also a sound recording. I listened to it make several extremely quiet short versions/subsongs of its plaintiff whistle song.
