This is a recording of the typical boom call, but I'm confused about the more gutteral, almost howler-monkey like call in the background. Is that also a Curassow? Birds of the World says, "Female also sings, although less frequently, and the notes sound huskier and more guttural". The two differnt "songs" are remarkably in synch. Or is it actually just a howler monkey?
