Observation details
!!!! Holy Indiana! First lincoln county and 10th nevada record. Broke my 3 year bad luck streak with these guys! Located with flock of orange-crowns, yellow-rumps and kinglets here 37.2733861, -115.1186152. First view i got was of the face which had destincting black streak below the eye along with pale crescent under and abive eye. It popped into full view and i was able to see streaky black flanks, yellow from throat to vent defusing at vent and white undertail, dark bill, olivy back, and gray cap. Structurally the bird was a relatively small, long-tailed warbler maybe the same size as a Wilson’s. The bird was pumping its tail quite a bit as I watched it for maybe 40 seconds hopping around in the upper levels of the trees. I lost the bird and was never able to refind it. Full report to the nbrc. Photos
