Observation details
First, possibly second year bird. Large, bulky, pale gull with a very large, thick black bill. Pale tan, mostly concolorous all over, blurry patterning though the undertail coverts were finely barred, something I have not noticed before. The primaries and secondaries were pale, white-tipped, similar shade to the rest of the upperparts.
