Observation details
The entry to the Nocturnal House bordered a nice stand of Mulgas where, very actively and nervously, a flock of Purple-Backs were bounding about far more arboreally than most Wrens!! The pale-ashy females... the almost luridly deep-blue mask like a thick streak over the male's face... I thought I might actually miss my chance as they kept very well hidden, but then I lucked out; they made their way into a shrub with a very sparse back, meaning I could simply pick them out where they thought they were hidden!! Even the male showed very nicely in the end!!
