Observation details
As previously reported by Angus McNab, Peter Yendle, and John McGill. First bird initially seen with about a dozen Banded Lapwings at puddles in the middle of the road. The bird then flew to the western field, where it joined the second bird. Tall, slender bird with long legs, dark-tipped red bill, light tan upper parts and black primaries. Resembled a Tern in flight, with long, slender scythe-like wings. Photos to be uploaded.
