Observation details
At least one seen and photographed. E-bird expert identified it as a juvenile Sabine's. The tricolored wing - brown/black with white triangle in the center - is unmistakable. Sabine's Gulls are highly pelagic and most of them probably migrate south over the open ocean - much smaller numbers occur in the Inside Passage. See photos
