Observation details
One lone bird observed in a small group of feeding Sandpiper. Yellow bill base and standout streaking cut off breast abruptly as well as a slightly larger body. Must have been shot up the backside with a rainbow for this observation with only a pair of old eyes and a zoom lens. Although l have been observing these awesome little birds for some weeks now on a regular basis. Though only about 500 of them here this a.m. and this evening there may be more or less, and other Sandpiper species.
