Observation details
Continuing rarity feeding mostly on ground around sewer drain at (27.7960833, -97.3939444) Large long-legged yellow flycatcher with yellow belly and bright yellow undertail, greenish back, and gray crown with faint red median line, visible during some postures. Bird showed yellow armpits when flying and pale buffy tips on spread tail. Chased mostly flies, hopping across sidewalk and up onto curb and catching them easily, then made more energy-intensive pursuits of flying insects up into trees and on building walls. Hunted from truck as perch. Very cool bird. Watched for 15-20 mins before others arrived.
