Observation details
Female. Photos. Came from upstream early morning almost at end of trail by river before the crowds moved in. Like female blue-eared but without the iridescent blue colors on crown and wings and instead much darker with contrast to bright blue back and rump. Likely same bird we saw in flight Friday 21st of July.
