Observation details
Flagged as rare. Ryan Johnson and Jared Fisher were already there and started seeing CASW flying past, and called us after a fourth bird flew past. A fifth streaked across when we arrived, which we missed, but then we started to see them in groups of 1-3, usually with TRES. We saw 20 total, so combined with the first 5 that we missed, there were 25 CASW in about two hours at the same location. Other birders joined us and were able to witness the spectacle as well. Some of the CASW flew directly over the cars which made photos possible.
