Observation details
Discovered this pipit going through some old photos. Didn’t know better at the time and probably assumed it was an American pipit. Now realize it was, in fact, a red-throated pipit, possibly an immature. Noted are the pink legs, whereas the legs of the AMPI are dark. Also, the black and brown steaks of the back and crown are much bolder then the AMPI. That also goes for the bold black streaks of the front and sides.
