Observation details
This was small gull in with a sizable flock of RBGU. I first noticed a smaller bird with dark in the head and/or neck in the scope then I immediately grabbed my camera to photograph the flock. Unfortunately the birds were not super close and quickly flew between me and the sun. I did manage to photograph the bird but truly cannot tell much about what it is from the photos other than that it is small, has some amount of dark in the general head area, and has some black on the tip of the tail. Upperwing looks... dark... ish.. That's about it.
