Observation details
Another birder told me that he had found a warbler which he thought was a Tennesee or an Orange -crowned in the fuzzy grasses along the trail. My husband and I proceeded along the trail and easily found the bird. We spent at least 30 minutes studying it and photographing it - although unfortunately with only an iphone. We decided that it was an Orange-crowned due to the blackish line through the eye and the yellowish breast that seemed faintly streaked. The bird was very yellow under the tail. It was flitting around in the fuzzy grass and also in a bush with small dark berries. Would be interested in other thoughts.
