Observation details
Observed feeding with Mallards and Wood Ducks at the north end of the lake. Smaller than the Mallards; larger than typical Green-winged Teal size. Both individuals display the white cheek patch near the bill, dark eye stripe, and broken white eye ring typical of female BWTEs. Markings and bill are more prominent than on GWTEs.
