Observation details
Life bird. We hiked into the jungle at a known location to get to the edge of the river. As soon as we got to the river, almost directly above our heads was the Jacamar. Nice looks and photos obtained before the bird darted off out of sight. Female. The bird was constantly tracking bugs with its beak held almost vertically. Photos.
