Photos - from Wampold. Originally identified in field an in photos as Dunlin. External reviewer found the mistake. I had no idea they could be that brown. Classic expectation bias + incompetence at work. Perfect date for newly arrived Dunlin, and White-rump never entered my mind! One of few documented records for fall in Louisiana, albeit documented inadvertently. (Dunlin would have been one of the only records for that site
