Observation details
Medium-sized tanager, heavy conical dull yellow bill. Olive-yellow head and upperparts, yellow breast and belly, and darker olive wings (no barring) and tail, with the wings hanging slightly forward off the sides of the body in a gangly manner, typical of the SCTA. Observed sallying for insects between two trees at the edge of the beach, again in a typical manner for this species. Doc shots provided, taken at a distance with a mobile phone.
