Observation details
I went here to search out the Western Kingbird originally reported a few days ago. When I first arrived it wasn't around that I could see, but suddenly it flew in from the lake-side of a dense stand of trees, flew to a very high conifer, and spent three or four minutes fly-catching from that tree, a few other high conifers, and within the branches of an almost bare deciduous tree. Then it flew back to where it seemed to have come from, on the lake-side of that denser stand of trees. Twice I observed the narrow white edge to the tail when the bird was in flight, and it's visible in my photos of the perched bird.
