Observation details
Continuing remarkably tame sparrow found yesterday by Dave Oster. Very pale sparrow, plain pale cream-colored below with warm brown auriculars, crown, and breast band. Black streaking down back, extensive white in underwing coverts and some white in primary coverts. Appears to be a nonbreeding/first winter female. This unafraid bird seems to strongly favor the gravel parking areas and large rocks within the fields and permits both humans and dogs to approach within 20 feet without much concern. Morris #202
