Media notes
Echolocation clicks and calls inside the cave and while entering the cave. Microphone angled into the cave entrance to record interior activity. Recording began about 20 minutes before sunset and recorded many birds entering the cave. Close echolocation clicks can be heard from entering birds as they flew by the microphone. A high level of general background noise from the clicks and calls of birds inside the cave already can be heard throughout the recording.
Observation details
Many swiftlets (likely hundreds) seen foraging around the entrance to the cave at dusk, and seen and heard entering the cave.
