Observation details
Einschätzung des Vogels von D. Forsman: “This is an interesting bird and it also is a difficult one. Despite the longish p6, indicating Hen, the hand looks narrower than in a normal male Hen in all images, so probably this is a true feature. The head, neck, underbody and underwing coverts, even the broadly barred secondaries, all indicate some involvement of Pallid Harrier, so yes, I believe this is some kind of a hybrid/backcross Hen x Pallid rather than an odd Hen Harrier.”
