Observation details
During our nightly herp transect, Alex noticed a strange gray shape on a log about 5m into the forest. We walked over to check it out and saw it was a tinamou resting about 1m above the ground. Pretty easily identified due to the curved beak, distinctive pinkish lower mandible, and monotone gray color. Possibly got some of the best views anyone has ever had of this species.
