Observation details
Male, photos to review. Red throat bordered in black, very dark head lacking a white supercilliary stripe, that should be present on either YBSA or RNSA. No red nape. Back markings white to off-white, and evenly spaced which is better for RNSA. Odd bird. It was being chased around by the Red-breasted Sapsucker. Black chest developing, suggesting a 1st year bird, and if so, this plumage would suggest RNSA.
