Observation details
Picked up 3 very quick relatively small ducks flying along the west shore of Gull Lake in Binoculars. Very quick direct flight, landing and splashing around for a few seconds and taking flight again. The round white heads, white bellies, plump bodies, dark wings really stood out. One was a female as I could clearly see the upper dark flank stripe. Verified through scope and gave looks to Rick Verzier a friend of mine from Barry County who works the grounds here. Very poor Distant flight photos as I found out too late my ISO setting was at 1600.
