Observation details
Initially with two other HOOR/OROR, this one was quite small, perhaps being about the size of a GCSP or a little larger. Round head, very short and squared tail, shorter and straighter bill with grayer mandible than juv HOORs, overall brighter greenish yellow and more uniformly yellow underparts (including the sides and flanks) than typical for HOOR, blackish wings with moderately contrasting white edging. Frequent "chuck" and other blackbird-like calls, although juv HOORs can make similar sounds. Overall this bird seemed to better fit OROR than a short-billed/short-tailed juv HOOR.
