Observation details

Seen first from a distance and got poor video (thinking it was the stilt at first) Went back to the car for my camera and told Bruce Robinson and Kyle Brock about the bird as they had just arrived. I returned to where the bird was with Bruce and I got much better / closer looks and photos - definitely a Dow - not stilt. Will send photos to a couple others to confirm Long vs Short but time of year and initial impression is Long. Update: I heard from Josh Ketry later that he got audio and it seems to match Long-billed as well. I sent it to Alec to confirm and he agrees with Long-billed. Willie D'Anna agreed and noted there are no internal markings on the tertials. Never looked further for a/the stilt.
