Observation details
My first record for the site. Winter plumage adult first seen preening on the edges of thick vegetation around the sides of the reservoir. Later feeding in the soft mud around the edges of the vegetated patches, keeping to itself. At one point chased by a few Wood Sandpipers and then feeding in the open, and sheltering in the shadow of a grassy clump. Overall like a small grey Common Sandpiper. Photographed.
