Continuing bird first reported by Brandy J 2 days ago and relocated by others periodically since. Actively feeding along ice edge. Molting juvenile. Distinguished from Red-necked primarily by structure: heavier, thick-based bill, blockier head shape, bulkier body. Confiding bird unconcerned by observers, vehicles and even a dog team.
