Observation details
Gray heads, white throats and malars with dark mustache stripes, white eye-rings, brownish streaked backs and wings, long tails. Underparts had indistinct spot and breast/side streaking on white ground color. Pulling the usual Sagebrush Sparrow shenanigans by flying far along the road and diving under the rabbitbrush, and not allowing me to approach very closely. One of them stood under the rabbitbrush and flicked its tail like an Empid several times. Sometimes cocked long tails and ran like roadrunners. Seen along the west half of the road where it's closely lined with rabbitbrush.
