Observation details
Stout warbler. Olive green, no wingbars. Distinct, complete eye ring. Throat and breast dingy gray. Dull yellow belly. Long undertail coverts. [It was seen along the gated road just west of the Ridge/Stillhouse intersection. Spotted where the trail starts to descend, on left/south side of the trail near where the grassy spot and side trail gate.] When I first saw it moving in a low pine, I thought it was a thrush. It flew up into branches and sat in the same spot while I tried to get a photo from different angles [the Warbler Guide says this is typical Conn behavior.]
