Observation details
Altered species association with this sighting from Traill's to E. Wood-Pewee per eBird Reviewer flag and notes from John: "Your images are of Eastern Wood-pewee. Grayish looking flycatcher without eyering, dark bill, long primary projection, and faint wingbars." Original notes below- Smallish. Wing bars. No obvious complete eye ring, but I often find unobvious and partial eye-rings hard to see . Photos and video. I thought it may have made soft two syllable call /contact calls- no sound recorded. (Not Least). Not Phoebe. Not Great-crested. No dark vest, so presumably not a wood-peewee (nor olive-sided), but no clear yellow either. Not a kingbird. No obvious crest. Suspecting Willow/Alder (leaning Willow due to photos not showing much if any eyering).
