Observation details
Reported by Shilo yesterday. A pristine specimen - white supercilia, lower orbitals, and malars contrast beautifully with gray crown, black mask, and orange-ochre breast. Wing coverts, secondaries, and tertials are covered in a generous helping of buffy margins, and the bicolored rectrices flash conspicuously with every tail pump. The cottage owner Connie came to see the bird herself and was so hospitable to everyone present. Many thanks to her for stewarding the property for wildlife!
