Observation details
On large easterly granite island with Herring Gulls. The HEGUs kept to the west side while the COTEs kept to the east side. About 25 Terns were basking on the strip of rock when another 25 came swooping in and they all rose up into the air. Awesome! This was one of the target species to inventory because Phil knew there were more COTEs than normal. He kept telling us "Common Terns are not common."
