Observation details
***continuing mega. Ssp leucorhoa by the extensive black on the tail and bright orangey wash on breast. This is also the expected ssp here. Beautiful (adult?) male. According to the renter of the house, the bird has been around for at least a couple of weeks. When viewing the bird please be respectful of the homeowner, renter, and vegetation surrounding the area. The renter allowed us onto the driveway while we were there but please do not go anywhere else on the homeowner's property. The bird has been frequenting the deck at 370 Ryder Way. It sits there for a while occasionally flying down onto the sandy area just below to feed and often sat on the rock pile. At one point it flew north a bit and teed up on some vegetation before going to the sandy area that others observed it feeding at late last night. It eventually returned to the deck.
