Observation details
1 Juv, probably a female which tried to catch the storm petrel. Appeared unusually dark brown but possibly due to the very bad visibility. It tried to catch the petrel multiple times, first with horizontal pursuits but the petrel was turning much more efficiently changing it's direction by near 180 degrees while the peregrine was still shooting straight. Then for 3 times, the falcon gained altitude high above horizon and dove toward the petrel at high speed, all this with relatively slow beats. The falcon eventually gave up.
