Strange pink color on standing pelican. Perhaps caused by something in the water?
Observation details
Rough count. Many birds tightly packed flock on island resting. Some birds feeding. Pinkish cast to heads and necks. Some birds with enough color to make me think pale flamingos? what? before looking closely. Magnificent.
