Observation details
Saw a small gray nondescript bird feeding in the grass near the bathrooms by the amphitheater. I immediately started taking photos thinking this was a new species for me. The lack of any discernible identifying attributes was deafening. It was eating seeds in the tall grass. It had no wing bars, a smaller bill than the Indigo or Lazuli, and a slight green tinge to the back. He was mostly foraging alone or a minute or two with a single house finch which was also telling. I think it showed around 10am.
