Observation details
Seen flying into drying lagoon on opposite bank to me. On attempting to get binary on them I realised they had alighted and I couldn't refind in direction of wetlands. I had been lying down photographing sandpipers and turned around to leave- the oriental plovers where 20m behind me! They were extremely curious as I remained on the ground with one walking within 7m. Indescribable how cute these curious plovers can be when you stall still.
