Observation details
Stunning male. I first saw the bronze-green back patch as the bird worked its way down, eventually getting to eye-level where the bird allowed for incredible views within 10 feet. Throat and breast were bright yellow and had a brownish breast with two white wing bars. Broken eye ring. Liam was able to get a picture. Bird was still being seen and foot of kayak put in and Big Chico Creek when I left. Photo by Liam Huber (39.7051858, -121.9393191)
