Observation details
Saw what I initially assumed to be a warbler, but when I got my binos on it, it was an oriole! Immediately thought OROR. Small size, decurved bill, dark line through the eye, and well defined white wingbars. But, I didn’t see it for too long. I was also hearing a HOOR (coming from a different direction), and then a tanager also showed up seconds later in the exact same spot, so that kind of threw me. Eventually, one bird flew out (I think the OROR) and then another (presumably the tanager) followed. Quickly followed them and heard the OROR giving its blackbird like call. Was able to get recordings, but not a photo, as it was bouncing all over the place. Eventually, it took off further west and I was unable to relocate. Also was able to get the HOOR and WETA in the recording as well.
