Observation details
As we were leaving at 1500, shouts of an albatross go out from outside and inside the boat! Incredibly, it wasn't even the most expected species, a Black-footed, instead a stunning definitive Laysan! Bird landed on the water for a minute before taking off again and making a couple of cost passes of the boat, once down to just 5m and close enough to see into each others soul! After realising that we were not a fishing boat bird drifted off to the north west. 50.9025675, -128.9513344
