Observation details
Tentatively identified as a CAHU based on humpback appearance, curved wings that extend past short slightly rounded tail not forked like RTHU, smaller than the RTHU’s that were frequenting the feeders. This bird never went to any of the feeders while I was there but rather only fed at the trumpet vine flowers. The RTHU were longer in appearance and much more streamlined. After further review it was determined that this was a juvenile/immature female RTHU that had a weird shape.
