Media notes
A Buff-breasted Flycatcher vocalizes (calls and song) after playback from short pines along the road edge on the level mesa. Background includes: calls of a White-eared Hummingbird and songs of American Robin, House Wren, Black-headed Grosbeak, White-striped Woodcreeper, & Grace’s Warbler. I suppressed 0-700Hz to reduce interference from nearby transmission lines. Recorded using a Fostex FR-2LE with a Sennheiser ME62 & Telinga Universal 22" parabola.
Observation details
Little cluster (probably same as yesterday) near our parking area; giving dawn song and much interaction calling, as yesterday
